Tooth Mousse will be beneficial for patients of all ages.  The calcium and phosphate from RECALDENT TM (CPP-ACP) will help to replace lost minerals from the tooth surface so regular application will aid the strengthening of teeth and protect them from potential dental decay and erosion.
Tooth Mousse Plus is recommended for patients age above 6 as it contains a similar level of fluoride found in adult-strength toothpastes.
For children under 6 years of age, fluoride-free Tooth Mousse will be a better alternative.
Both Tooth Mousse and Tooth Mousse Plus should not be used by anyone with milk protein allergies or sensitivity to benzoate preservatives.

A general recommendation is to apply GC Tooth Mousse or GC Tooth Mousse Plus every evening after cleaning your teeth.  This is because saliva flow is reduced at night and it will be ideal to use Tooth Mousse or Tooth Mousse Plus for increased protection.

For maximum benefit, the minimum application time on the tooth surface is 3 minutes.  After which, Tooth Mousse on the tooth surfaces can be allowed to gradually dissipate.  As the main ingredient is from milk, Tooth Mousse is safe if swallowed.
As Tooth Mousse Plus contains fluoride, we will recommend patients to expectorate any excess crème.
